If you can see a red light lit up on your card reader, it means that the Write-Protect function is active. The Write-Protect function protects your work against unintended file deletion and keeps your system from writing unwanted data files to your card. To ensure functionality, your memory card must be safely ejected and your card reader must be disconnected from the host (e.g. your computer) BEFORE activating or deactivating the card reader's Write-Protect Switch. Once you're done, please connect your card reader to your host.
